Formation status
Where we actually stand.
Opes is currently being organized as a proposed Nevada-chartered retail trust company. It has not been chartered and is not authorized to act as a trustee or provide fiduciary services.
This page is maintained to describe the company's status accurately. We would rather be plain about what is unfinished than imply authority we do not have.
What Opes can do today
- Discuss our proposed service model with professional partners
- Review anonymized representative cases and share non-binding observations
- Assemble the Founding Partner Program

What Opes cannot do today
- Act as trustee, co-trustee, or successor trustee
- Accept appointments under any trust instrument
- Hold, custody, or administer client assets
- Provide fiduciary, legal, tax, investment, or accounting advice
- Guarantee that a charter will be granted or state a launch date

Our disclosure standard
What we will not claim.
No regulatory approvals
We will not describe any approval, license, or authorization we have not received.
No assets or client counts
We will not publish assets under administration, client counts, or trust counts until they exist.
No partner logos
We will not display the marks of firms, regulators, or institutions to imply endorsement.
No launch dates
We will not publish a commencement date. Regulatory review governs timing, not marketing.
Statements about the future — including the intent to apply for or receive a charter, to commence operations, or to offer any particular service — are forward-looking and subject to regulatory review, market conditions, capital, and other factors outside the company's control. They are not guarantees. Nothing on this site is an offer of securities or of fiduciary services.
Questions about our status are welcome.
If a compliance team, a client, or a partner needs a plain answer about where we are, ask.
